Public Transport

Living in Dublin generally sucks but as it is where most of the jobs are it is also where more then 1/4 of the countries population is.

Compared to the rest of the country we have a great public transport system, and really it isn't that bad sometimes but capacity is a huge issue.

I found some interesting webpages about this issue.
My personal grip is the Balbriggan/Drogheda/Dundalk train.

Anyway some of it makes for interesting reading...

Besides the trains there are Buses in to the city centre.
Unfortunately the Dublin Bus ones go through Swords and 1/2 of North Dublin so double commuting time and the Bus Eireann ones are expensive and not covered by normal Annual commuter tickets.
